Alaska's Kenai Peninsula Weather

Summer temperatures on the Kenai Peninsula can fluctuate greatly ranging from 40-80 degrees. Daytime temperature averages are about 60 degrees; water temperatures average about 40-50 degrees. Wind and rain are always possible. Hypothermia can occur in this area even during the summer months. There are a number of local stores that sell “Alaskan” clothing if you forget something.
